Along with its beautiful beaches and clear waters, there is a national park which is located nearby. With many first class hotels, lovely spas and fine eateries, you won't lack for anything here. You would not want to forget the many pubs and taverns that line Ochetuel beach for some great nightlife as well. Located on the Gulf of Thailand, this lovely spot is just where you want to be if you are in need of pampering and relaxing.
Nearby are several uninhabited islands which are easily accessible from Sihanoukville. Traditional wooden motorboats take passengers on day trips out to these serene retreats, where you can snorkel amongst the beautiful fish and coral, relax on secluded beaches, and enjoy a barbecue on the sand. Several scuba diving sites are situated off the coast and dive operators run several options of trips for those who like to explore the depths of the ocean.
The Ream National Park is home to a large and spectacular mangrove forest. Here is where over 100 different species of births, and monkeys make their homes. The endangered freshwater dolphin is also here. There are guides to escort you for a walk through the jungle or feel free to take a boat trip with a park ranger who will introduce you to the unique species found here.
This beach adventure is perfect for those who are weary of the noise and confusion of the big cities and is only a three hour drive along the best road in Cambodia.
